The day is filled with fun activities for all ages and a chance to explore the library’s newly renovated spaces.
Festivities begin at 11:00 a.m. when children and families are invited to meet Paw Patrol characters alongside the library’s beloved mascot, Arly the Fox. This special appearance makes for a wonderful photo opportunity and a joyful way to kick off the celebration.
At 1:00 p.m., visitors can choose from two engaging options: head to the downstairs community room for a free screening of the romantic comedy The Love Punch starring Pierce Brosnan and Emma Thompson—complete with complimentary popcorn and snacks provided by the Friends of the Library—or venture upstairs to enjoy the lively sounds of the Library Jam Band. The new upstairs stage will be open for community musicians and singers to join in, creating a spirited celebration of music and creativity.
The afternoon continues at 2:30 p.m. when the Understudies Production Co. takes the stage with a readers’ theater performance on the theme of holidays, offering entertainment that is both thoughtful and fun.
The Library’s 25th Building Anniversary is more than a milestone—it’s a celebration of community, creativity, and connection. Don’t miss this day of family-friendly fun, local talent, and shared excitement. Join us at the library and bring a friend!
