January 1st (Thursday)—New Year’s Day
January 19th (Monday)—Martin Luther King Jr. Day
April 3rd & 4th –Good Friday and the Saturday before Easter
May 25th—Memorial Day
June 20th (Saturday) Watauga County Public Library only; Boonerang (meeting
room and bathrooms will be open)
July 4th (Saturday)—Independence Day
September 7th (Monday)– Labor Day
October 3rd (Saturday)—Wilkes County Public Library only: Apple Festival
November 11th (Wednesday)—Veterans Day
November 26th – 28th (Thursday – Saturday) – Thanksgiving
December 24th – 26th (Thursday – Saturday)-Christmas
December 31st (Thursday)—All libraries close at 5:00pm
