The Wilkes County Public Library will host a Reentry Simulation on Thursday, March 26, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. This free event is organized in partnership with Homestead Recovery and R3 Recovery Revolution and is funded through a grant from the Wilkes Health Foundation. It will begin with a light meal sponsored by Vaya Health in the library’s downstairs meeting room.

This Thursday, the Reading Trap Book Club will “visit” the rolling fields of rural Scotland to celebrate Lewis Grassic Gibbon with a conversation about his novel Sunset Song.

February is National Library Lovers Month, a time to celebrate the essential role libraries play in strengthening communities, inspiring lifelong learning, and providing free access to trusted information and resources.
