 Hours for the Watauga County Public Library from October 7-11:
Monday, Oct. 7 , Tuesday, Oct. 8 and Wednesday, Oct. 9 from 10 am - 4 pm 
Thursday, Oct. 10 and Friday, Oct. 11 from 9 am - 5 pm.
 
The Western Watauga Branch's hours will be:
Monday, Oct. 7 , Tuesday, Oct. 8 and Wednesday, Oct. 9 from 10 am - 4 pm 
Thursday, Oct. 10 from 10 am - 5 pm
Internet/WI-FI should be working at both locations
All items due during the closure have been renewed.
We will have story time Wednesday and Thursday but all other programs are cancelled for this week.

Programs & Services

 

Dementia Support Group-  Bi-Monthly Meetings - second  and fourth  Friday.   Open to people living with Dementia, their families, caregivers and friends-connect with others going through same experiences.  Questions- please contact Sandra Basel - [email protected]

Book Club-  Western Watauga Branch Book Club meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month! Next meeting will be November 20th @ 2:30pm!

Notary Public Services

Fees: $10 per principal signature and $10 per person for oaths or affirmations without signature

  • Wireless Internet access

 Out-of-town visitors are welcome to use the library computers. Children under 18 need parental permission.

Outreach Services

  • Regular visits to home-bound Watauga County residents
  • Deposit collections for daycare centers and elder care facilities

Our outreach van operates each Friday, serving older residents of Watauga County. Library materials have a loan period of 4 weeks. Library staff deliver and pick up library materials.
