Students, professionals, and other individuals may utilize our three tutor rooms, each of which is equipped with a built-in desk and two office chairs, for quiet study. These rooms are available during library hours on a first-come, first-served basis.

The library has three meeting rooms available for use. Organizers are responsible for all room set-up, break-down, and operation before, during, and at the end of their event. Please call the library to find out if your group is eligible and to begin the reservation process.

If you are looking for a space to read, study, socialize, or relax, and you are between the ages of 12 and 17, we hope you’ll visit our teen area. You’ll find cafe-style seating, computers, graphic novels, and more.

The Heritage Room boasts an unparalleled collection of local history and genealogy information about Ashe County, North Carolina. Patrons can use our DIY Memory Lab to convert VHS, audiocassettes, 8mm film, vinyl records, and other legacy media to digital formats. We also have a comb binding machine for making booklets.
