ORAL HISTORY PROJECTS

 
  • Saving Seeds, Saving Stories is an oral history project showcasing stories about Ashe County's rich and varied agricultural heritage, with a focus on growers who devote their energy to local and heirloom varieties. Visit the online archive here.
  • The Ashe County Veterans History Project shares personal accounts of American veterans so that future generations may hear directly from veterans and better understand the realities of war and military service.  Visit the online archive here.
